First Nations Event Planning Sheets

First Nations Event Planning Sheets are reflective planning templates designed to help educators plan more meaningful events for NAIDOC Week, National Reconciliation Week and other First Nations significant dates throughout the year.

The resource includes three planning sheets: one for NAIDOC Week, one for National Reconciliation Week, and one generic template that can be used for other events, such as Sorry Day, Torres Strait Islander Flag Day or local community events.

These sheets help teachers and schools reflect on previous events, consider what worked well, identify what could be improved, and think more carefully about community wants, needs and priorities before planning begins.

Whether used individually, with a planning team, or as part of whole-school event preparation, First Nations Event Planning Sheets support educators to plan well-considered and thoughtful events with your school community.
