Planning for Connection 2025 with background

Planning for Connection sold out nationwide.

What started as an idea to help teachers move from good intentions to meaningful action quickly became a resource used in classrooms, staffrooms, and schools across the country.
Right now, Planning for Connection is evolving.

The next chapter is still taking shape — but the goal remains the same: to support educators in creating lasting, meaningful change in First Nations education.

"Honestly, I feel like Planning for Connection is the missing puzzle piece between what I have been learning and the 'how we implement'."

Kay, Primary Teacher, QLD

Hi,

My name is Jordyn Green

I'm a proud Wiradjuri, Ngemba, and Paakantji woman, primary teacher, and founder of The Yulang Effect. With over a decade of experience in the classroom and leading Aboriginal Education, I created The Yulang Effect to support educators in creating purposeful plans and taking bold action. Yulang is the Wiradjuri word for 'ripple' and when teachers commit to strong, sustained change, the yulang (ripple) effect can transform classrooms, schools, and communities.

The Yulang Effect is 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated.

It’s time to take action.
Are you ready?

Planning for Connection 2025 officially sold out, and I’m currently reimagining what comes next.

Over the past year, hundreds of educators engaged with the resource, joined conversations about First Nations education, and began creating meaningful change in their own contexts.

Now it’s time to thoughtfully consider the next step.

Will there be a new edition?
A different format?
Something completely unexpected?

I’m taking the time to make sure whatever comes next genuinely meets the needs of educators and schools.
